A split decision on Inauguration weekend: CBS’ “Face the Nation” won in Total Viewers and NBC’s “Meet the Press” takes the top spot among younger viewers.
Despite the weekend’s political events, “Al Punto” is the only show to show year-over-year growth: the Univision show is flat in Total Viewers and up +19% in the A25-54 demographic.
Compared to the same week last year, “Face the Nation” is down -8%/-13%, “Meet the Press” is down -19%/-17%, “This Week” is down -10%/-12% and “Fox News Sunday” is down -23% in both ratings measurements.
Rebroadcasts of “Meet the Press” delivered 1,376,000 Total Viewers and 512,000 viewers in the demo. “Fox News Sunday” was not rebroadcast on cable due to Inauguration coverage.
“Face the Nation” is based on the first half-hour only, as the full contiguous hour aired in just 56% of the country.
