CBS’ “Face the Nation” won in both total viewers and the A25-54 demographic for the second week in a row on January 12. NBC’s “Meet the Press” was second and ABC’s “This Week” was third, with “Fox News Sunday” in fourth and Univision’s “Al Punto” in fifth.
Compared to the same week last year, CBS and ABC are both up: “Face the Nation” grew +20% in total viewers and +23% in the A25-54 demographic and “This Week” was up +17% and +24%, respectively. “Meet the Press,” “Fox News Sunday” and Univision’s “Al Punto” were down across the board.
Cable replays of “Fox News Sunday,” which was guest hosted this week by John Roberts, averaged a combined 1,587,000 total viewers and 365,000 A25-54 viewers. Rebroadcasts of “Meet the Press” delivered an additional 1,226,000 total viewers and 584,000 A25-54 viewers.
“Face the Nation” is based on the first half-hour only, as the full contiguous hour aired in just 50% of the country.
