With the situation in Egypt ending in dramatic fashion February 11 with Hosni Mubarak announcing his resignation, the Sunday public affairs tried to cover both the situation in Egypt, with U.S.-centric public affairs issues such as the budget.
Still, all four programs were down compared to the prior week. All were down compared to the same week last year as well, save for ABC’s “This Week”, which was up slightly in the demo.
NBC’s “Meet the Press” was the top program, as usual, with “This Week” placing second in the demo and third in total viewers, and CBS’ “Face the Nation” second in total viewers, and third in the demo.
On cable replays, “MTP” added 943,000 total viewers, while “FNS” added 1.79 million total viewers and 378K demo viewers.
