CBS’ “Face the Nation with Bob Schieffer” was the top-rated public affairs program among both the key A25-54 demo and total viewers on Feb 15. “Face the Nation” was up +11% in total viewers and marginally up in the demo, compared to the same week last year.
ABC’s “This Week with George Stephanopoulos” was up +20% in viewers and up +25% in the demo, finishing second in both categories. NBC’s “Meet the Press” finished down -16% in viewers and down -25% in the demo, but it should be noted that a drop was expected because last year at this time NBC was airing the Olympics.
“Fox News Sunday” was up +40% in viewers and up +27% in the demo, while combining with cable replays for 3.7 million viewers. Replays on FNC averaged a combined 2.14 million total viewers and 372K in the demo.
“Face the Nation” is based on the first half-hour only, as the full contiguous hour aired in just 75% of the country.
