Sunday Show Ratings: August 8

In her second week, Christiane Amanpour again finished second in the demo and, this time, essentially tied for second in total viewers.

NBC’s “Meet the Press” finished first and was the only program to grow its audience versus the previous week. (ABC’s “This Week” was down roughly -200K total viewers.) All four programs were down in the demo. Compared to the same Sunday last year, all four shows were down in both categories.

Cable and network rebroadcasts of “MTP” drew an additional 1,078,000 viewers. “Fox News Sunday” drew an additional 1,636,000 total viewers on cable replays.
