With much of the attention focused on South Texas in the wake of Hurricane Harvey, NBC’s Meet The Press with Chuck Todd was the No. 1 Sunday show, drawing nearly 4 million viewers across the country and 1.24 million in the A25-54 demo.
This was the biggest audience for Meet the Press in nine years (since 2008). The show was up +26 percent in viewers and up +27 percent in the demo vs. the same week last year.
ABC’s This Week with George Stephanopoulos was No. 2 in both viewers and the demo. The show was up +7 percent in viewers and up +11 percent in the demo, year-over-year. Season-to-date, This Week is seeing its largest audience in 18 years, since the 1998-99 season.
Fox News Sunday with Chris Wallace also saw big growth vs. last year. With a newsmaking interview with Secretary of State Rex Tillerson, FNS was up +25 percent in viewers and up +28 percent in the demo.
