The Sunday morning ratings remained the same last week, with NBC’s Meet the Press winning the “public affairs” category and CBS News Sunday Morning winning the “news” category.
Sunday Morning, anchored by Charles Osgood, saw 5,230,000 viewers, with a 1.7 share in the A25-54 demo. Compared to the same week last year, Sunday Morning saw an increase of 10% in Total Viewers and 6% in the demo.
The Tim Russert moderated-Meet the Press finished first in Total Viewers last week, with ABC’s This Week in second place, CBS’s Face the Nation in third and FOX News Sunday in fourth.
NBC’s Meet the Press tallied 3,921,000 Total Viewers, compared to This Week with 2,889,000, Face the Nation with 2,849,000 and Fox News Sunday with 1,343,000.
ABC and CBS saw gains in Total Viewers week-to-week.
