Terrell Suggs and Josh Cribbswill make their acting debuts Thursday night on The League, FX’s comedy on a fictional fantasy football league.

“I had a great time on set and I’m a big fan of the show, so I was excited to learn that I would be showcasing my comedic skills in front of the camera alongside such a hysterical and talented cast,” the Baltimore Ravens linebacker said.

Cribbs, the feared Cleveland Browns special teams star, approached his acting debut much like he would preparing for a new opponent.

“I prepared for my role by watching episodes from the first season and memorizing my script, but when I stepped on the set, it was like seeing a blitz for the first time. The actors were so talented and funny, so a lot of my lines were improvised.”

The League airs at 10:30 PM EST/PST.
