Business news anchor Susie Gharib signed-off the long running PBS show “Nightly Business Report” on New Year’s Eve. And yesterday, CNBC anchor Sue Herera took over alongside Tyler Mathisen. Gharib had been an anchor at the show since 1998.
CNBC acquired “Nightly Business Report” from Atalaya Capital in Feb. 2013. The show, which had long been owned by and produced at WPBT (PBS) in Miami, then moved to CNBC’s studios New Jersey.

The show’s founding anchor Paul Kangas, retired in 2009 after 30 years of hosting the show.
