Jamie Colby‘s new show on the Fox Business Network, “Strange Inheritance,” debuted on Monday night as the network’s highest-rated show launch ever. The series follows Colby, who recently caught up with TVNewser, around the country speaking with people who have been left unusual inheritances.
“Strange Inheritance” debuted with back-to-back 30-minute episodes, The 9pmET episode, featuring an old baseball card collection, averaged 289K total viewers and 44K in the key A25-54 demo. The 9:30pmET episode, featuring two actors who inherited a $1 million estate from a total stranger, brought in 315K total viewers and 49K in the demo. The combined double premiere averaged 302K total viewers and 47K in the demo.
