Stewart Unloads on CNBC After Santelli Cancellation

What happens when you cancel on a comedy show? David Letterman displayed what he would do when Sen. John McCain canceled in September. And last night, after CNBC’s Rick Santelli canceled on Friday (“I guess the phrase would be ‘bailed out'” said Jon Stewart), The Daily Show’s Stewart showed his method — an eight-minute indictment of CNBC. From wrong predictions to softball CEO interviews, and bringing it all home with the ill-fated accused scammer interview last year, the anthology of pre-meltdown material was vast. Said Stewart: “If I’d only followed CNBC’s advice, I’d have a million dollars today…provided I started with 100 million dollars.”:
