Stephanie Todd has been promoted to vp of programming at HLN.
Todd, who has been with CNN Worldwide for more than 20 years, will have oversight of dayside programming, including Morning Express with Robin Meade, The Daily Share, and Weekend Express with Lynn Smith. She’ll also be tasked with creating additional live hours of news in daytime, part of HLN’s re-alliance with sister network CNN, as outlined by CNN Worldwide president Jeff Zucker last November.
Todd joined CNN as producer on the former Talkback Live. She’s also produced several HLN shows including Prime News and Issues with Jane Velez-Mitchell and has directed the network’s coverage of key courtroom cases, including the Jodi Arias and Casey Anthony Trials.
“Stephanie is one of the best in the business, and we’re lucky to have her in this new role,” wrote HLN boss Ken Jautz in a note to staff.
