Stephanie Ruhle Named Co-Anchor of Saturday Today Show

By Chris Ariens

Stephanie Ruhle, who left Bloomberg for a new gig at MSNBC in April, has been named co-anchor of the Saturday Today show. She’ll join the show next Saturday, while spending her weekdays anchoring on MSNBC in an as-yet determined timeslot.

Ruhle takes over for Erica Hill who departed the weekends in early April for a weekday anchor role on MSNBC.

Here’s the note from weekend Today ep Matt Carluccio:

I have some exciting news to share; Stephanie Ruhle is coming to Weekend TODAY.

Steph, as she will insist on being called around the office, will join Sheinelle, Craig and Dylan to anchor Saturday TODAY.

This will be in addition to Stephanie’s forthcoming role anchoring dayside for MSNBC.

Stephanie comes to us from Bloomberg TV where she co-anchored their morning show and got used to getting up at ungodly hours.

Sheinelle, Craig and Dylan will say hello to Stephanie this weekend and the new anchor team will begin on May 28th.

Please join me in welcoming Stephanie into the fold!
