Squawk Box’s four-city Squawk Across America story kicked off this morning, as Carl Quintanilla, Becky Quick and Joe Kernen broadcast live this morning from Loews Miami Beach. The trio used a portable desk to broadcast poolside.
Meanwhile, while the CNBC program (as well as the Today show regulars) are on the road in Miami, the home base of their programs is getting dumped on with a full northeast snowstorm.
Quintanilla and Quick had planned to spend the weekend in Miami, but Kernen was slated to fly back to Newark this afternoon. That plan, according to a CNBC spokesperson, has clearly changed.
