Former New York Governor Eliot Spitzer will sit down with Matt Lauer on NBC’s Today show Monday for his first live interview since the sex scandal that forced him out of office.

We’re told the scandal will be a topic of discussion.

The interview will be Spitzer’s second television appearance — Fareed Zakaria conducted a taped interview with him last month for “GPS” on CNN.
