| What did you think when Katie Couric took over at CBS Evening News? I was absolutely thrilled. Do you think she’s doing a good job? To open the news saying, ‘Hi, everybody’ — I just don’t think that’s where we should be. I just think she’s soft. It’s soft. But I know she’s a good reporter, and I know she’s a strong woman. She’s probably going crazy. Because one day they’ll say, ‘Oh, you need to be a little stronger. Oh, you need to be a little lighter, a little friendlier.’ I feel for her. |
