Six Months Of Couric: Is She Really Patient?

Sean McManus is quoted in today’s LAT:

“We don’t like being No. 3 at all, but I still firmly believe if we keep putting on a better and better show, we’re going to see some growth in the ratings. I’m very patient, Katie’s patient, my boss is patient.“

Is Katie really patient? “That adjective has never been used to describe her,” an e-mailer says. “Indeed, she’s the very opposite, and those who know her say she’s unhinged by her failure to do better in the ratings…”
