With the Chris Brown-Rihanna aftermath and octomom Nadya Suleman in the headlines, Showbiz Tonight had its best week ever last week.
The program averaged 519,000 Total Viewers and 290,000 in the A25-54 demo. In the demo, HLN was 3rd at 11pmET, ahead of The Rachel Maddow show repeat (it was 4th in Total Viewers).
Dave Levine, EP of Showbiz Tonight, tells TVNewser: “This is especially gratifying given the timing, as we begin our fifth year on the air. During that time the show has really evolved, and clearly it has paid off. After two straight years of growth, we are well on our way to another great year — and I have to give the credit to the unbelievably creative Showbiz Tonight team here.”
