On Thursday, Shepard Smith celebrated 20 years with Fox. Smith was hired in 1995 as a correspondent for Fox News Edge the affiliate news service. Less than a year later, Roger Ailes began building Fox News Channel and hired Smith first as a reporter and later promoting him to anchor.

“20 years later, this company is the envy of the media world and my every dream has come true,” said Smith on his show Thursday.
