Sharon’s Stroke: Blitzer Flying To Israel

CNN anchor Wolf Blitzer is en route to Israel to cover Ariel Sharon‘s hospitalization.

Wolf hosted the 4 and 5pm hours of The Situation Room, but at 7pm he was replaced by John King, leading Jack Cafferty to ask “where’s the Wolfman?”

“Wolf is on assignment,” King said. “I think you can probably connect the dots — a very important assignment. He’ll be back tomorrow…but not in this spot.”
