Sean Hannity: Father, Fox News Channel Personality, Tennis Pro?

By Molly Stark Dean

Fox News’ Sean Hannity was featured in Tennis magazine for their Jan/Feb issue. Hannity told the magazine about his use of political guests on “Hannity”:

“I don’t know if I can ever leave the politics behind. It’s hard to shut it off.  But you have to, in order to keep some perspective. That’s where tennis comes in. When I go to a tournament, I escape my political world. I immerse myself in draw sheets instead of news stories.”

Hannity met with writer Peter Bodo at his Long Island tennis courts to talk about his life in news, and of course, tennis.

“What I like about tennis is that it reflects life,” Hannity told Bodo, “The harder you work, the greater the benefit.”

Bodo went on to describe Hannity as “the conservative bulldog and lightning rod of talk radio and Fox News Channel.”
