Scarborough: Donald Trump’s Comments on Obama ‘Beyond Breathtaking’

By Mark Joyella

On MSNBC’s Morning Joe Tuesday, co-host Joe Scarborough described Donald Trump‘s decision to revoke media credentials to The Washington Post as another strange turn in a truly unusual election. “It gets worse by the day on the campaign trail,” Scarborough said. “Yesterday a suggestion … that Barack Obama was somehow implicated in these terror attacks.”

During a Fox & Friends interview Monday, Trump said “look, we’re led by a man that either is not tough, not smart, or he’s got something else in mind.”

Scarborough said of the comments, “the conspiracy theorists hear the dog whistle, and go to him.”

“It reminds me when a lot of scumbags said George W. Bush had something to do with 9/11,” said Scarborough. “The Republican party’s candidate saying that Barack Obama may have been complicit in the killings of Americans is beyond breathtaking.”
