In a discussion about Mike Huckabee this morning (more here), MSNBC’s Joe Scarborough got onto the subject of Fox News and its chairman and co-founder, Roger Ailes. “Roger Ailes is the most powerful voice in the Republican Party,” he said. “He has set up something that– it is the only organizing institution for the GOP because everybody’s let Republicans down in Washington DC. It’s Roger.” This is not the first time Scarborough’s discussed Ailes’ successes and influence.
