Savannah Guthrie Shares Memories of Her Uncle With Down Syndrome

As part of the “Today” show’s #InspiredBy week, Savannah Guthrie shared the story of how her uncle, who had Down syndrome, continues to inspire her. Guthrie, whose mother and sister also appeared on “Today” to remember her uncle, tells People: “I just thought he would be the perfect person to highlight because he really proved that no matter what challenges you face in life, you can rise above them and flourish,” she says.
