Savannah Guthrie and Hoda Kotb Are Hosting Their Own Today Show Digital Video Series

Are you a big Today show fan, like millions? Well the legendary morning show’s digital production team has launched 11 new, regularly scheduled series, as well as several returning digital video shows, that will run throughout the Fall and early Winter.

Today launched a number of original digital series over the summer (one of which included Al Roker making sandwiches with Cheech and Chong), and according to the powers at be, people are watching.

“Since launching the Today digital series over the summer, we have seen tremendous success including an +86 percent increase in video views overall,” NBC News evp of digital partnerships Trevor Fellows told TVNewser. “With this new compelling slate of fall programming, we are confident that viewers and advertisers alike will continue to demand more Today on every screen.”

Today show co-anchors Savannah Guthrie and Hoda Kotb are hosting their own Today digital video series for the fall, as is Weekend Today anchor Sheinelle Jones.

“This Fall season of digital original shows extends our programming to include series led by our on-air talent,” said ep for Today digital and vp of strategic content Ashley Parrish added. “Creating this type of video content is just another way we’re introducing Today talent and expertise to all screens, all day.”

The programming will be available on Today.com, Today’s YouTube channel and on NBC News’ OTT apps, including Amazon Fire TV, Apple TV and Roku.

Here’s a rundown of the new Today digital video series for Fall:

  • Change for a $20: Today editor Brooke Sassman travels around New York City to find style, home and food solutions for under $20.

  • Crazy Kitchens: Viewers get an inside look at celebrities’ most magnificent kitchens, including their wildest cooking gadgets, five-figure appliances and what’s really in their fridge… or fridges!

  • How to Talk to Your Kids: Parenthood is filled with tough conversations. Today’s trusted experts show you how to talk to your kids about difficult subjects.

  • Joy Full Eats: Today nutritionist Joy Bauer reveals the secrets behind how she cuts the calories, carbs and fat from some favorite comfort foods like fried chicken, pancakes and creamy pasta – without sacrificing satisfaction or flavor

  • My Pet Tale: Celebrities share how their pets have shaped their lives and become lovable, important members of the family.

  • One Small Thing: Each week, viewers take away one tip to make life just a little bit easier in this shop-able video series.

  •  Out and About: Today editors Zach Pagano and Tyler Essary explore the country’s best amusement park rides, outdoor adventures, and unique thrills.

  •   Quoted by Hoda: Hoda Kotb sits down with celebrities to discuss their favorite quotes and words of wisdom.

  •  Safest Kid on the Block: Today investigative correspondent Jeff Rossen teaches you and your children all the skills they need to stay safe throughout the year.
