In the new children’s book Princesses Wear Pants, the main character, Princess Penelope Pineapple, aims to show girls that it’s not how they look, but what they do that matters most.
The book is co-authored by Today show co-anchor Savannah Guthrie and Allison Oppenheim, whose husband, Noah, is the show’s SVP. With Guthrie still out on maternity leave after giving birth to her second child, Charley, in December, the Today team plugged the book on Monday’s show.
ALERT! Calling all princesses and the moms/dads who love them: our book *officially* available to PREORDER now! https://t.co/73nfjOsWdI pic.twitter.com/ntsrTIFQtw
