Sarah Palin on ‘Fox News Sunday’ to Discuss Martin Bashir

By Chris Ariens

Sarah Palin will be on “Fox News Sunday” to talk about — among other things — the vile comments leveled at her by MSNBC host Martin Bashir a week ago.

There’s still no word from MSNBC about possible disciplinary action for Bashir following the comments he made about Palin on his show Friday, Nov. 15. Bashir apologized for those comments last Monday, and continued to anchor his 4pm show all week.

But following the two-week suspension levied on Alec Baldwin two weeks ago, the unpaid week off Ed Schultz took for calling Laura Ingraham a “slut,” and the 2007 firing from MSNBC of Don Imus for calling members of the Rutgers women’s basketball team “nappy headed hos,” there have been calls for action — some of the loudest of which have come from Fox News hosts, but also from Bashir’s MSNBC colleague Joe Scarborough.
