Sandy Cannold Leaving CNBC, Expected to Join ABC

Sandy Cannold, a longtime CNBC EP is leaving Englewood Cliffs, TVNewser has learned. Most recently, Cannold has been executive producer of “Power Lunch” and “Street Signs,” but has worked several dayparts during his 13 years with the network. Cannold also produced CNBC’s GOP primary debate last November.

We hear Cannold, who incidentally came in sixth in this year’s TVNewser Bracket Challenge, will join ABC News this fall in an EP position working on program development.
