Ross Describes Waterboarding To O’Reilly

An e-mailer asks: “Did you see ABC News chief investigative correspondent Brian Ross‘ appearance at the top of The O’Reilly Factor tonight? Some pretty stirring stuff.”

Ross described how the CIA broke 14 top Al Qaeda leaders by using techniques like waterboarding. “That’s where a man is put upside down. They put a cellophane or a cloth over his mouth. They pour water and it gives the impression that the person is drowning. Some people liken it to a mock execution. It is very tough to withstand.”

The segment led another e-mailer to wonder: “Why doesn’t Fox have a correspondent like this? Why’d they have to use an ABC guy?”
