Ron Insana Says He Wasn’t Pushed

Ron Insana‘s says his exit from the anchor desk has nothing to do with the broader changes at CNBC, this morning’s New York Daily News reports.

“There was an opportunity that presented itself and CNBC gave me an opportunity to keep a solid relationship,” Insana says.

Meanwhile, he’s about “to strike a deal with a publisher for his monthly, subscription-based newsletter,” tentatively titled “The Ron Insana Report…”
