This morning on GMA, Robin Roberts introduced Thriver Thursday, a new 12-part digital docuseries she’s hosting and producing under her Rock’n Robin Productions banner.
Sponsored by Bristol-Myers Squibb, the first two episodes of Thriver Thursday hit Roberts’ social media pages today; then one will be available for stream every Thursday, as of next week.
Thriver Thursday introduces viewers and followers to “extraordinary individuals who are persevering and inspiring others one heroic step at a time.”
“This is a deeply personal project for me,” Roberts said in a statement. “As someone who is blessed to be thriving after two, life-threatening illnesses, I want to show people there is hope. They are not alone. To see someone’s story and learn how they were able to, as I always like to say, ‘make their mess their message’ and inspire others by rising to even higher heights in the face of extraordinary challenges – and not only survive – but THRIVE – that’s what this series is all about,” she added.
