At the end of “Good Morning America” this morning, the anchor team (joined by guest-host Oprah Winfrey) had a special guest, apparently booked by Oprah herself: Robin Roberts.
Roberts has been recovering at home since having a bone marrow transplant a month ago. Oprah and the “GMA” team wore her favorite slippers (which look like furry frogs) to honor the occasion. It was the first time Roberts had called in since the surgery. She has appeared in photos, and written blog posts.
“You have lifted my spirits,” Roberts said. “I am so incredibly blessed to be doing as well as I am.”
