Starting today, former CNN New Day anchor Michaela Pereira is now a member of the HLN on-air family. Pereira marked her first day at the network with an appearance on Morning Express with Robin Meade, where the two spoke about her new HLN show which debuts on the network in June.
Pereira will host the yet unnamed program from Los Angeles, where she had previously been co-anchor of the popular KTLA Morning News for nearly 10 years.
While the show is still being formulated, Pereira did mention that “it’s going to have a little bit of a West Coast vibe… we’re going to have lots of conversations about lots of issues, have a little bit of fun and make you look like you have a lot of info when you go to your next cocktail party.”
The program will air weekdays from 10 a.m. ET – 1 p.m. ET (7 a.m. – 10 a.m. PT) immediately following Morning Express.
