NBC chief health and science correspondent Robert Bazell “has been selected to receive the 2007 Lifetime Achievement Award from The National Association of Medical Communicators,” NBC announced today. “Bazell will accept the honor on April 14 at NAMC’s annual awards banquet in Tampa Bay, Florida.”

NAMC President Dr. Brian Doyle says “we can count on Mr. Bazell for accurate, timely reporting. He is a television reporter who conveys solid scientific facts in a way that the viewing public finds understandable and interesting. He has a long-standing history of looking ahead and working on the issues, not just responding to the medical hot topic of the day.”
