Rivera’s Confrontation with Baltimore Protestor Gains Big Audience Online

By Mark Joyella

A Baltimore protestor who confronted Fox News’ Geraldo Rivera has become a bit of a viral sensation, with video of the encounter crossing 3 million views on Facebook Thursday morning. The man, who has not been identified, accused Rivera and FNC of only covering the rioting in Baltimore, while largely ignoring the death of Freddie Gray.

Rivera, who talked about the incident on “Fox and Friends” Wednesday, said the man was “truly annoying and obstructionist.”

Rivera had been in Baltimore reporting for FNC’s “Hannity,” though the encounter with the local resident did not happen on air.
