Remembering Russert: Memorial Service Program

NBC News has released details of today’s memorial service for Tim Russert. The entrance music will be selections from Russert’s iPod and the service will conclude with a musical tribute from Russert’s brother-in-law, jazz/rock guitarist Tony Scozzaro. The service at the Kennedy Center begins at 4pmET and will air on MSNBC.

Among those delivering remembrances, Tom Brokaw, Gov. Mario Cuomo, Mike Barnicle, Maria Shriver, Brian Williams, and Luke Russert.

NEW YORK — June 17, 2008 — Following is updated information on Wednesday’s private memorial service for Tim Russert at the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C.:

The service will begin at 4 p.m. ET and will be televised live on MSNBC.
