Ratings for Sunday’s Cable News Coverage of Health Care Vote

Fox News lead the way Sunday during the lead-up to the House vote on health care reform. But after the bill passed, with the vote at 10:45pmET, FNC viewers turned away while CNN and MSNBC increased their viewership into the 11pmET hour.

• The 10pmET hour:

FNC — 3.34M / 1.18M
CNN — 3.16M / 974K
MSNBC — 1.25M / 453K

• The 11pmET hour:

CNN — 3.30M / 1.18K
FNC — 2.37M / 906K
MSNBC — 1.50M / 563K

In primetime (8-11pmET) FNC lead the way averaging 2.95M Total Viewers to CNN’s 2.19M and MSNBC’s 873K. In younger viewers, FNC averaged 965K, to CNN’s 637K and MSNBC’s 315K

For Total Day viewing Fox News also lead averaging 1.87M to CNN’s 1.16M and MSNBC’s 5484K. In A25-54 viewers for the day, FNC averaged 561K to CNN’s 355K to MSNBC’s 204K.
