Radio Helped the Video Star

By SteveK

Two TVNewsers making radio waves today:

• Yesterday TVNewser reported FNC anchor Sean Hannity could be leaving ABC Radio by the end of the week. Today, it appears a deal has been struck. Radio Equalizer reports the new three-way partnership includes syndicator ABC Radio Networks, Clear Channel’s Premiere Radio Networks and Hannity himself. The deal will allow Hannity to remain with Citadel-ABC Radio’s stations.

• CNN anchor Lou Dobbs got his own radio show in March, and now it appears the program will be expanding. Radio Online reports Dobbs’ show has been picked up by Lifestyle Talk Radio Network, to be rebroadcast from 7-10pmET. Before the deal, Dobbs’ program was heard in about 60 markets.
