Q2 2015 Ratings: Fox News ‘Outnumbered’ Outgrows All Other Shows

foxnews400Fox News Channel has now been the No. 1 cable news channel for 54 consecutive quarters, and saw double digit prime time growth in the A25-54 demo compared to Q2 2014. Much of that demo growth was provided by Megyn Kelly‘s The Kelly File which was the most-watched cable news show in June in the demo, for just the second time ever.

The ratings for Q2 2015 (Nielsen Live + Same Day data):

  • Primetime (Mon-Sun): 1,603,000 total viewers / 301,000 A25-54
  • Total Day (Mon-Sun): 974,000 total viewers / 186,000 A25-54

Outnumbered, airing on Noon ET on FNC, was up the most out of all daytime programming: up +27 percent in total viewers and up +26 percent in the demo. Sean Hannity — who has been the first stop for many GOP candidates for president — was up +8 percent in the demo compared to Q2 2014. All weekday programs from 9 a.m – 11 p.m. ET are up in either total viewers or the demo. Among the demo growth leaders: The O’Reilly Factor was up +16 percent, Shepard Smith Reporting was up +12 percent, On the Record with Greta Van Susteren was up +9 percent and Special Report with Bret Baier was up +3 percent.
