During CBS This Morning’s live broadcast from outside the new National Museum of African American History and Culture, a protester stunned the hosts and their guest, Gen. Colin Powell.
“Colin Powell! You know better Colin Powell! As a black man in America, you dropped bombs on Iraq,” the protester shouted to a visibly shaken Powell.
“Is he one of yours?” Powell joked after a few seconds.
“He is definitely not one of ours, and he’s coming up here to harass the show on live TV,” Gayle King said.
“Museum security immediately intervened and the matter was quickly resolved,” a CBS News spokesperson tells TVNewser.
