President Obama, Donald Trump Set for Cable News Town Halls

The man about to leave office–and the man who hopes to replace him–will sit for separate town hall meetings, CNN and Fox News announced Monday.

CNN will host President Obama for a session focused on national security, CNN Presidential Town Hall: America’s Military and the Commander in Chief. Jake Tapper will moderate the session from Fort Lee, Va., on Wednesday, Sept. 28 at 9 p.m. ET.

Questions will be posed by Tapper and an audience of veterans, active duty military and members of the military community.

Fox News will host Donald Trump this Wednesday, Sept. 21 for a special edition of Hannity from Cleveland, with the Republican presidential nominee focusing on issues of concern to African-Americans. Pastor Darrell Scott, a Trump supporter, will join Trump for the town hall session.
