In his interview with Pres. Obama in India, CNN’s Fareed Zakaria asked the president about the drone that crash-landed on the White House lawn early Monday morning. While the New York Times describes it as “a U.S. worker’s drunken lark,” the incident again calls into question the safety of unregulated, unmanned aerial vehicles, which many news organizations, including NBC, CNN and Fusion, are looking into for newsgathering purposes.
This also makes us wonder: when UAVs are regulated, will there be a new OWI law on the books, one for drunken droning.
