In the meantime… this PA columnist thinks Charles Gibson is destined to be #1. He writes:
“Gibson is more of a fixture than his rivals. To borrow a word from 2000, he has more ‘gravitas.’ He leads the best of the evening shows, Most of all, he has worked hard to earn the top spot at his network, and he looks natural and authoritative in the role. Ratings may teeter-totter a little for the next few months of this year, but in the end, Gibson will come out firmly in the lead and stay there. Deservedly so.”
