Two of them: CNN’s Brent Sadler was near the scene when it happened: “I’ve been through many explosions in my life and this rates as a very strong one and what I am seeing in terms of collateral damage, a lot of damage to a five-star hotel, the Continental Hotel, right next door to the blast.” And, from FNC’s Rick Leventhal in Jerusalem: “Within moments of word that a car bomb had gone off in Beirut, phone calls were being made to local contacts, officials, and other cooperating news organizations.”
