“Pentagon to review spy files after NBC report,” the AP says.
On Tuesday, NBC News reported that a Pentagon database “listed activities of anti-war groups and referred to at least 20 U.S. citizens or others inside the U.S.”

Supported by Douglas Pasternak, Rich Gardella and the NBC Investigative Unit, senior investigative correspondent Lisa Myers revealed details about the 400-page report earlier this week. Here’s the MSNBC.com story about it. MSNBC.com published portions of the report, edited for clarity, as a PDF.

In response, Stephen Cambone, the undersecretary of defense for intelligence, has “ordered a full review of the system for handling such information to ensure that it complies with Pentagon policies and federal law.”
