Following a week of terror in Paris, “CBS Evening News” anchor Scott Pelley reflected on what was lost last week: when the freedom of speech — speech through satire — came under attack. “There is no democracy without journalism, Pelley said.
“The enemy knows our vulnerability. Silence is the end of freedom,” Pelley concluded.
