CBS News correspondent Scott Pelley “went to the bottom of the world to get to the bottom of the story on global warming for this Sunday’s 60 Minutes,” a CBS press release noted on Tuesday. “He and his 60 Minutes camera and production crew climbed up a glacier in Antarctica for 11 hours — roped together in case anyone should fall into a crevasse — to get to the top of a glacier where the fastest warming on earth is taking place.”
