Paris: CNN International Covers “Liberation”

CNN International’s breaking news coverage of Paris Hilton‘s release was labeled “Paris Liberated,” a word usually reserved for Iraq.

“As soon as we see Paris Hilton, we’ll be back live here on CNN,” anchor Adrian Finighan said. Then: a teaser about North Korea’s nuclear program.

Later in the hour, CNNI’s coverage was simulcast on CNN/U.S.
