Keith Olbermann unleashed a lengthy diatribe last night on Countdown aimed at FNC’s Bill O’Reilly, over O’Reilly’s inference that NBC’s parent company GE had ties to the bin Laden family and Iran. O’Reilly used John Hockenberry’s article in the MIT Technology Review to back up some of his points (Hockenberry is a former Dateline NBC and MSNBC correspondent).
Olbermann took exception with the guerrilla tactics of O’Reilly’s producer and the “facts that (O’Reilly) left out that kind of make him look like a psychotic.” Olbermann also talks about the “vague and rather sad charges” in Hockenberry’s article. The complete segment is below:
