So, here’s what happened in Toronto this afternoon. CBC TV was carrying live coverage of a City Council hearing that may strip embattled Mayor Rob Ford of more of his powers. As the hearing was entering a recess, Ford runs to the other side of the chamber and knocks over City Councillor Pam McConnell. “Oh my God! He’s attacked somebody,” said one of the CBC anchors.
